Traditional Banana Bread that Everyone Can Enjoy!

Bread is a staple food in every household and banana bread is definitely one of the most popular varieties of it. Banana bread is also a big hit with children and is a great healthy snack. It is usually moist and sweet and has a soft and spongy texture. Another good thing about banana bread is that it is easy to prepare and cook as well. It is as easy as 1-2-3; just combine all the ingredients, mix very well and then you will have scrumptious and delicious banana bread in no time. Here are the main ingredients of banana bread and the simple procedure to bake your own bread at home:

Ingredients:
3 large bananas, mashed very well
1 3/4 cups of all purpose flour
¾ cup of sugar (white)
1 teaspoon of baking powder
¼ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 large eggs
½ cup melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
walnuts (optional, for crunchiness)

Procedure:

1.#Pre-heat your oven for about 180 degrees Celsius. Then spread some butter and flour to your baking pan, set aside first.
2.#In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Set aside.
3.#In another large bowl mix together the mashed bananas, melted butter, vanilla and eggs. Mix well then using a wooden spoon carefully the mixture into the first dry mixture. Fold until the thick.
4.#Pour the mixture over the baking pan, you can put some walnuts on top and then let it bake for about 5 to 10 minutes or until the bread is golden brown. You can see if the bread is already cooked if you try to stick a toothpick and then it comes out clean then your banana bread is now ready.
5.#Let the banana bread cool for a while they remove it from the pan. Serve and enjoy this very delicious bread, you can refrigerate the leftovers.

As you can see, it is extremely easy to prepare best banana bread and indeed it is also a good project to do together with your children. You can ask them to help you with the preparations ad baking, just make sure that they don’t get near the hot oven or a sharp knife.
